Children’s Garden is the only non-profit parent cooperative childcare organization currently operating in the state of Iowa. That means that our operations are governed and operated by our parent membership. Our parental involvement provides a higher level of transparency and engagement than anywhere else.

Our Parent Co-op Board works in partnership with our Executive Director to make decisions, grow and improve, and maintain the best possible experience for our children. Parents are encouraged to be involved; any parent can join the Board, participate in volunteer opportunities, attend annual parent meetings, accompany classes on field trips, and more.
